Ciders & Cordials

We are Dan, Pat, Laura and Rosie: three siblings and a niece who have embarked on a slightly barmy adventure to use our lovely family orchard to its fullest potential, creating ciders and hedgerow wines from the apples and fruit growing on it.

Our Mission
We use locally grown fruit and work together as a family to produce good quality cider and wine. We are planting for the future, guided by the past; valuing nature’s gifts, our heritage and traditions and giving back in equal measure.

Welcome to
our Orchard

Our orchard was part of a much larger fruit farm, parts of it still remain but some are lost. We are passionate about keeping our orchard. By maintaining, replanting and utilising we ensure its future. It originally had three varieties of apple trees and these are being added to each year with heritage and local varieties to add interest, history and diversity. Other fruits such as plum, damson and soft fruits have been planted and each year more are added in. We have a wealth of birds, bees, butterflies and insects, wild flowers and animals – some more welcome than others but all part of the eco system. We do not spray or use chemicals and believe in keeping things as natural as possible. We are a small, family business and intend to keep it that way.

Our Ethos

We believe in looking after the bees, trees and leaves on our orchard and further afield. Laura and her partner Lee’s day jobs are in recycling, and we’re all passionate about making sure what we do has as little impact as possible during our time on the planet. We can’t always do everything 100% right, but we’ll always do our best, and make sure that we explain why we’ve made certain choices in our packaging, production and transit along the way.
